Make a proper hole in the nipple by carefully cutting a small X with the provided sterile needle or clean scissors. The opening size directly controls the formula flow rate start small and enlarge gradually if needed.
Regularly monitor the nipple condition for wear and tear, especially as your kitten's teeth develop, to prevent accidental tearing or swallowing of nipple pieces.
To prevent aspiration, always keep your kitten's head level during feeding. A IMPORTANT: Do not tilt head backward under any circumstances. For safest feeding, position your kitten upright as they would naturally nurse.
