Sera X-Edge Corner Filters[Flow - 700L/h]

The water flow of the Sera X-Edge corner filter is continuously adjustable and can be variably directed using the included spray tube. Alternatively, the duckbill nozzle offers a gentle spray. This nozzle can also be used to increase the supply of oxygen: air is drawn in through the injector using the Air-Set and then mixed with water and delivered to the aquarium.

Of course – as with all Sera filters – the safety aspect of the design is also taken into account in the Sera X-Edge corner filter. Corner filters can potentially be dangerous for fish and shrimp. In doing so, one must pay attention to two areas. On the one hand, fish sometimes swim behind the filter and can get stuck. For that reason, a "Swim-stop" was integrated, which prevents fish from swimming there. On the other hand, young shrimp often crawl through the filter media into the filter - this can be quite dangerous for them. To prevent this, precisely fitting filter media are used.

Attaching the corner filter is incredibly simple: The holder is attached to the glass using four suction cups. The corner filter is then snapped onto the holder. For cleaning, the filter can still be released from the holder. Alternatively, it is also possible to remove the filter cotton under water.​
