Sera UV-C System[Power - 5W]

Inside these systems, the flowing water is irradiated with UV-C radiation for a short period of time. The unit is equipped with a UV-C emitting lamp, which is protected by a high-quality silica glass tube around which the water flows. Water enters through a hose connector and flows out through another on the opposite side. The variable adapter allows the connection of hoses of different diameters. Replacing the particularly efficient PL UV-C lamp is easy. The end pieces with hose connectors are rotatable and allow the shortest possible hose connection.

The systems are available in different capacities according to your needs (see overview). They are connected to a suitable powerful pump with a hose. UV-C systems are primarily equipped with energy-saving lamps and a gently working electronic ballast.

Powerful, yet energy-saving, UV-C cleaner with universal connections for various filters and pumps. The sera UV-C System 5W can be used in conjunction with the sera P 1200 pump or connected to external bioactive filters such as Sera serafil 130 or 250. The separate pump and tap in the filter should pump out the amount of water corresponding to the volume of the tank in one hour. UV-C System 5W cannot be operated without a pump.

Neither the inhabitants of the aquarium nor the nitrifying bacteria settled in the filter are threatened by UV radiation.
